Blood pressure is the lateral pressure exerted on the blood vessel by the moving column of circulating blood. By this system, our body takes oxygen, nutrition and remove carbon dioxide, metabolic waste products. This pressure created by the contraction and relaxation of the heart muscle. In our body we have to type of blood pressure, one is Systolic pressure another is Diastolic pressure. Systolic pressure produced after the contraction of the left ventricle of the heart. Diastolic pressure produced after the relaxation of the heart. Normally we cant fell this contraction and relaxation of the heart. The normal range of pressure as below :

Normal: Equal or Less than 120/80 mm Hg;
Elevated: Systolic between 120-129 and diastolic less than 80;
Elevated: Systolic between 120-129 and diastolic less than 80;
Pre Hypertension
Stage 1: Systolic between 130-139 or diastolic between 80-89;
Stage 2: Systolic at least 140 or diastolic at least 90 mm Hg;
Stage 1: Systolic between 130-139 or diastolic between 80-89;
Stage 2: Systolic at least 140 or diastolic at least 90 mm Hg;
We can check pressure regularly with an automatic blood pressure monitor
